This is a tricky issue, especially when it comes to video games. Is Arkanoid a superior game than Mass Effect, simply because it is so abstract that it avoids all of the prbaoemltic content? So much of what we love about games is abstract and intangible that I often can’t help but feel that the surface layer of character or story often as not has nothing to do with why I play a game.

I am so curious about the new world. I kinda like the dark vibe that it has, but I can understand not everyone is into that.
I think the objects also come in handy even if you don't particularly like the world itself. The build stuff, and the buy items... omg.
