Electronic Arts will be conducting focus groups that will discuss The Sims video games on the evening of Thursday, November 11, in Encino, California. If you own The Sims Bustin Out, The Sims Get A Life, or The Sims 2 and are interested in participating, we invite you to come to our facility for a two-hour group to talk about your experiences with The Sims. If you qualify, the discussion will last approximately two hours and you will be paid $75.
We have hired an independent research company, Adept, to conduct these discussions. If you would like more information or would like to participate in the focus group, please call (818) 905-9666 and ask for Travis at Ext. 443.

Afgelopen donderdag was het dan zover: De felbegeerde Sims Awards werden uitgereikt. De genomineerden? De SIMpathiekste persoonlijkheden van Vlaanderen!
Via de Sims Award website hebben jullie mee kunnen stemmen naar wie er volgens jullie recht heeft op deze titel. Er waren daarbij verschillende categorieën: SIMpathiekste fotomodel, SIMpathiekste acteur, SIMpathiekste popster, SIMpathiekste familie en SIMpathiekste TV-persoonlijkheid.
De presentatie lag in de handen van Kurt Rogiers – Die vorig jaar zelf een Sims Award won voor SIMpathiekste filmster - en Ilse Van Hoecke. Het was een avond vol zang, dans en show! Met optredens van onder andere Brahim, Kate Ryan, Xandee en Elsie Moraïs.
En dan natuurlijk, de awards! Door wie zijn ze gewonnen?
- Tom van Landuyt sleepte de award voor SIMpahiekste acteur in de wacht!
- Erik de Looy werd verkozen tot SIMpathiekste TV-persoonlijkheid!
- De familie Pfaff is dit jaar de SIMpathiekste familie van Vlaanderen!
- Kate Ryan kan goed zingen, net als alle andere genomineerden, alleen is zij de enige die zichzelf SIMpathiekste popster kan noemen!
- Tot slot werd Ellen Petri verkozen tot SIMpathiekste fotomodel!
De Sims Awards 2004 zullen worden uitgezonden op (de Vlaamse) TMF:
- Dinsdag 26/10 om 19.30 uur
- zaterdag 30/10 om 14.00 uur
- zondag 31/10 om 11.00 uur
