So my boyfriend -Wouter- is really excited about the Steam Summer Sale that's currently going on. I was complaining that Origin had these huge sales going on for The Sims 3 games, which is a good thing of course. But it's US only! Argh! So then Wouter mentioned that The Sims 3 and expansions/stuff packs were on sale on Steam. The sale will end on July 22nd. If you are interested and a Steam user, go ahead and complete your collection. At least the Steam sale is worldwide, so everyone can enjoy it!

One of the most Iconic images in gaming is the PlumbBob (the green diamond-like symbol) from The Sims. Creating your own world and then proceeding to mess around with anything and anyone within it is one of the greatest gaming feelings out there. In what other game can you make friends with only ghosts? Where else can you have a big party and then proceed to lock every guest in the bathroom? At least without serious repercussions…

My favorite thing to do in The Sims is to steal everything not nailed down. The greatness of the game is that you can play it however you want to!

Does this mean we're getting Open for Business after all? It would make my Sims 3 experience complete for sure (along with Into the Future and Movie Stuff of course)

The Dutch Sims page on Facebook has a cool contest going on. Dutch/Belgian Sims fans can win a dorm room in Sims style! I'm posting this here in case some of our Dutch/Belgian visitors are visiting the English site and we wouldn't want them to miss this!
